Reiko Johnson

Reiko focuses on identifying and evaluating potential acquisitions and partnering with Cranemere’s operating companies. She currently works with the teams at Exemplis and System Pavers.

Prior to joining Cranemere, Reiko was an analyst at Stellex Capital Management, where she focused on investments in the industrials and business services industries. She graduated with a B.S. in Finance and Sustainable Business from NYU Stern.

My non-profit work is important to me because … it allows me to give back to a community that has been instrumental to my personal and professional development. My relationship with Out 4 Undergrad (O4U) began as an undergrad in 2018 when I first attended the Business conference, and it had a tremendous impact on my ability to bring my authentic self to professional situations.

When I’m not working, I’m … spending time with friends and family in various ways. Whether it’s hanging out in Washington Square park or finding new restaurants to try, socializing with those I care about is what I enjoy the most.

If I weren’t an investor, I’d … score movies. I listen to a wide range of music and enjoy specific music genres relative to how I’m feeling. A movie score significantly impacts the film’s narrative and emotion, and I appreciate the music’s impact to the audience’s experience throughout the movie.
